Heart of Joy Community Center is a non-profit startup hoping to provide a safe, family environment for the deaf community in Northeast Ohio. I have always had an interest in learning sign language, so when the opportunity to go on a mission trip to a deaf village in Jamaica came up, I took it. The deaf community left an imprint on my heart. Upon returning home, several opportunities to use my design skills to help the deaf community arose, including Heart of Joy's brochure.
